TREND: Daisy flowers

19 February 2014

In 2013 Urban Outfitters, Brandy Melville and others started to bring the daisy flowers back. On tee's, skirts and dresses. The cute print has come back like it wasn't even gone. The high fashion brand Moschino, in the Cheap&Chic line they putted some lovely pieces in the 2014 collection with yes: daisy flowers in it. I especially love the daisy flower back. And... ofcourse, we can't afford the whole collection of Moschino Cheap&Chic with the cute daisy flowers on it. So I made some sets with daisy flowers!

Moschino Cheap&Chic 2014

KEEP IT COOL
This turtle neck daisy croptop is from Boohoo. Daisy flowers can bright up your outfit so much. They are super adorable! I paired this top with some denim items. You can get the 90's vibe, back with this whole outfit. Daisy flowers, denim (classic), and the jelly sandals.

 DAISYS ALL OVER YOU
All over printing items are it in 2014. You see a lot of people wearing the same print on the top and the pants, they do it like Cher from Clueless. She was rocking the yellow plaid! So can you with the daisy print. The top and the skirt are from Insane Jungle.

 TUFF IT UP
You don't like the cuteness, and you want to keep it grungy? Hell yes you can. I paired the daisy top with a leather jacket, with some cool Dr Martens. I also added another print kinda thing. High waisted denim shorts with Ying&Yang patches on it! This denim short has also a checkered fabric underneath the shorts.

 ERROR -CUTENESS OVERLOAD
Daisy flowers are cute, as you know. Bright colors with more bright colors, why the hell not. Fashion is there to experiment. The contrast is there with the yellow and the fire red. It really looks good! The skirt is from Insane Jungle.

 KEWL GIRL
H&M added some new items for the DIVIDED line, the DIVIDED line is pretty cool and awesome for the people with a grungy and mysterious taste. But lately, it became a little too mainstream. Maybe because it's H&M, they stand out for cheap and awesome clothes. Just like me, but mainstream isn't my thing. Well, I really like the black daisy sweater. It's a funny print and the size of the flowers are eye catching. A perfect fit with some cool dungarees! The top is from H&M (duh).

 SMILE AND FEAR NONE
This cute daisy skirt is also from H&M just like the sweater (see above here). It's also from the new DIVIDED collection from H&M. I kept this look simple, it's a perfect outfit for the summer when you want to go shopping. Comfortable and fashionable, it can't be better!

 SIMPLE
You don't like the all over print daisy flowers, or you just want to keep it simple? This dress from Shop Jawbreaking is perfect.
 CUTE&CHUNKY
I can't even tell how much I love the bag of the new Moschino Chic&Cheap collection, it's sad that I can't afford it. Maybe there will some other company make a look-a-like or something. This cute dress from Dorothy Perkins.

 QUICK&CHIC
Got a lunch date, got no time to dress up? You only need those 3 little things. The daisy dress from River Island is already a whole outfit, you just need some lovely boots and a clutch for the night!

FABULOUSLY CUTE
Fabulous, cute, and comfy? That's the perfect outfit for every girl. You can walk forever in your DR Martens, the daisy top is lovely with some fur. Maybe a little weird and contrasting, because fur is winter and daisy flowers a summer. But who cares anyways. Do it your way! The top is from Boohoo.

DIY: Organizing origami boxes

18 February 2014

I made a really easy, quick and cheap tutorial. Little boxes to organize your jewelry/accessoires box. I'm using them for my earrings, so I can find them quick and easy.

What do you need?

- Just origami sheets, that's all!

*I toke those pictures with my cellphone because I lend my camera to my niece. So, sorry if the quality disturbs you!
*The steps 8 and 12 are missing because I made some mistakes during photoshopping them. I hope it doesn't disturbs you while following the steps.

Trending: ☺ The 90's are so back ☺

17 February 2014

The 90's, the begin of the new generation: 00's. I was just a little kid. But I remember some TV-shows that I loved to watch, I also remember those artists like: Spice Girls, Backstreetboys or the Vengaboys. Nowadays, we're trying to get the feeling back. Crop tops are all over the internet, Dr Martens boots are all hyped up, and jelly shoes are trying to get back in fashion.

I haven't seen those in years until now, I really thought they were so ugly. I didn't want them on my feet when I had my swimming exam, but I had to. I still think they're ugly, I won't ever buy them for myself. If I do, I won't even wear it once. To be honest, 26 euros for those jelly sandals are a bit too much. I think Top Shop is too overpriced sometimes. I also don't know why they're back.

On the top of this post you see a picture of the movie: Clueless. I watched this movie a few days ago, because I saw this movie coming up on a lot of posts in my timeline. After I watched this movie, I saw some things of the movie Mean Girls in it. I guess the makers of Mean Girls were inspired of the movie Clueless. As you can see on the picture, you can see they wore a lot of plaid. Plaid on plaid! We still wear it today.

What the cool guys wore back in the 90's? Backward caps, sweaters, baggy jeans, and tee's. Guess what, it's still the same nowadays. Exept the baggy jeans. It's now skinny jeans all the way.

Movie: Clueless

NOWADAYS

You must remember Gwen Stefani, she was the star back in the 90's. She was all over the TV, her music videos were it on MTV. Now is Miley Cyrus as you know, in the 90's vibe (I guess) she also wears a lot raver buns. Like at the MTV VMA's 2013.

Bubble backpacks... are back! Seen at the TV-Show: Lizzy Mcguire, I really liked this show. It was funny, and I liked the funny drawings of Lizzy. I saw those backpacks at asos.com, they're a bit transparant. There are also full transparant backpacks (Clear backpacks). They look really awesome, but everyone can see what's actually in your back. So watch out! Just like the transparant clutch what also pretty trending is in the bloggers world.

Just do it like the Spice Girls back in the 90's. They are trending more than ever, platform shoes are it. You have wear high platforms, but you can also take it easy with this trend. High street fashion labels like H&M and Monki just added a few centimeters on the shoe. I totally adore this trend to be honest. I wear creepers with a little platform, and platform sneakers from H&M. They fit every outfit.

You see, a lot of things are coming back to 2014! What's your favorite trend back in the 90's, what will you wear and what not?
